I love this sense of change and transformation on a galactic scale - it really brings it home for me with our own meta crisis. Not that we should not be concerned about AI or climate or inequality. Quite the opposite. But that there are different roles to be played and that different outcomes can be ok, even if they seem unbearably sad right now
Exactly what I feel... and humanity has seen decline before. Maybe we should just learn and see what we can do to save what is important. I have actually realized that my greatest fear with AI is not that it take over or anything like that, but that we cease to recognize the human part of it. The importance of archives and libraries cannot be given away to AI... someone needs to manage that.
